I don't mind painted calipers, but how long will they continue to impress once the ravages of time, heat and road salt take a toll ?
Mine actually look pretty much like new on a 19 year old car and I’ve never done anything other than wipe them over occasionally when cleaning the wheels.I quite like the red calipers, but wouldn’t have bothered specifying them if they were an option, and certainly wouldn’t have painted them myself.

Eurovision is petty political blood letting set to truly terrible music. No one remembers the songs even a day later with the sole exception of ABBA & maybe that British one where their clothes fell off.
I think that is a very popular opinionStrangely Brown said:

And the bbc pay how much to show it??
Eurovision is run by the EBU, with 113 member organizations in 56 countries & run over 2000 television, radio & online media services. The BBC is a member. My other opinion is dullards who seize on anything they can to bash the BBC at every opportunity are in fact some of the worst haters of the UK going. The things that make this country unique, the BBC, National Trust, NHS, all constantly in the crosshairs. of red faced bores who profess to love the country but plainly don't.romft123 said:

So what? It's a whole evenings entertainment that brings joy to millions.
Yes, it's a cheesefest. Yes, the politics of it all is daft but it's a fun night where we sit down together and totally slag off all the acts while the blokes secretly letch over scantily clad ladies strutting their stuff. Marvellous!
Don't like it then don't watch it. Simples. I don't like football so I don't watch Match of the Day but I don't resent part of my license fee going to those millions that do. BBC tries to be all things to all men and in doing so will provide programming that some won't like. Too bad.

I don't know why this is an unpopular opinion but it seems to be......
People's assets should be used to fund their own care home costs. they shouldn't expect the State to pay just to enable them to leave an inheritance for their kids.
Oh, yes. That's pretty unpopular, and rightly so.People's assets should be used to fund their own care home costs. they shouldn't expect the State to pay just to enable them to leave an inheritance for their kids.
Here's mine...
If people are required to use their assets to fund care home provision then the sponging wasters with no assets should get no provision. Fair?

... far too often the family appears to be more concerned about their inheritance rather than their parents.
Another unpopular opinion: there is no right to any inheritance. It's not your money until you are actually given it. If your parents want to bugger off around the world and piss it all up the wall then that is their business, not yours. I have noticed several people I know planning their future based on an assumption that they will inherit a large amount. It seems to be increasingly prevalent as the more entitled generations come through.Strangely Brown said:
