This photo looks very worrying for what may lurk underneath the shiney coat of paint.......

As usual, only the shiny bits to see, no pics from rocker, joints, etc etc, so a must see before buying.
These F bodies are prone to rust, NaTs one seems to be the exception from the rule

Yep design fault , one of many in a Gen 2 F body
It’s a sump that’s lower than the rain relief channel,
So every time it’s got wet a small amount of water just sits in the hinge area on both sides,
Mines some corrosion damage but fortunately not to bad,
Once cleaned and blasted it will be fine again,

Just filled in the survey from the classic car and fabrication people,
I thought there answers were pretty much spot on give this type of survey?
Like the shooting and lead use one that we done months back it’s a bit academic , but as with all these government based surveys whether anyone actually listens is debatable!

Got custom’s clearance and a Nova issued
DVLA forms all done and should be sent tomorrow
So 10-20 days I may have my V5?
However as it’s a historic V5 DVLA may want a agent to view the car,
Hopefully not but it’s possible?
But shouldn’t be a problem as the cars complete , original and totally unmessed with,
I’ve been removing paint but that’s all,
As soon as the V5 is in my hot little hands I’ll rip the car to bits!!

That's ridiculous, he never posts anything that would upset people, not that I've seen anyway. Compare that to some of the grade A weapons that post in N,P&E, yet they remain.

Temp ban's are usually a week or a month, so I'm guessing, and from the messages elsewhere, that it is a permanent banishment sadly.

Need a pair of those in my life if i'm going to survive this bank holiday and probably the rest of the summer .

The standard of driving down here in the south is bad enough at the best of times but add mindless day trippers ,holiday makers

to the mix and it's total chaos ,tripping over terrified looking drivers in their ghastly looking mostly built in Korea little shopping trolley cars .

Just think how much travel time we could cut if we had a pair of those machine guns attached to our motors, .

Agree ,can't imagine nij saying anything to offend anyone, we are mostly a thick skinned lot anyway .

Surely he could come back as nij 2 much the same as i did,

There's a thread somewhere (sorry, haven't got the link handy) where someone has queried this, the response from Scrump (one of the good guys) was that lots of the photos Nij posted were copyright, and he had been asked not to post copyright photos several times but still did. One of the copyright owners contacted PH to complain and that was the final straw and he's banned permanently. That's the gist of it anyway. So it's a real shame but it seems Nij was warned several times beforehand.

As you say, easy to set up a new account (loads of the more obnoxious banned people have done this and made it fairly obvious who they are/were) but I think if Nij did that he'd have to change his posting style to avoid being binned again.

I've just come out of a 3 day ban (once again) for unrelated content on a local history site.....it was vehicle related from a topic created about local roads and I get a bit aggravated about AH's like Khan and the similar left wingers taking over London councils and was 'banging-on' about the effects of ULEZ on locals........fair enough 'ban' I guess...........

I agree with you about politics.....to a point. But when our motoring 'freedom' and obvious anti-car regulations are bought-in or proposed by supposed 'greenies', 'lefties' and individuals who have never experienced any form of 'real' world work experience and manipulate things to their own agendas I get really aggravated

Would have to be a different email address though (not hard I suppose) although I seem to recall someone saying different IP address as well, but I'm not techie enough to know about ways around such things.
