* Beer pumps and cellar space for the casks.
* Lazy-boy arm chair.

+1 for epoxy resin floor. Low level lighting if you can, or plenty of sockets to allow it in.
I have a Network cable ducted in from the house, two LAN sockets on the back of the bench and a wireless access point in the roof. Really useful, allows good internet speed for browsing manuals etc on laptop, and smart TV/google home etc all linked with the house. Also means I can add POE CCTV cameras to my home system with a single ethernet cable connection.
Oh and, work out where your bench/cabinets are going to be and put a feed in for under cabinet / task lighting on the bench. It can be surpisingly dark on the benh otherwise as generally your body casts a shadow right where you dont want it.
Mine isnt seperately switched, just linked to the main lighting so it doesnt get left on (one switch on your way out the door), but there are switches at both the pedestrian door and the main garage door.

Depending on height of roof - easy access to get stuff up there for storage of long items and other things.
Storage areas for tools, with associated plugs for charging.
You mention another garage, I vote for one compressor that may be in another area and decent diamater pipe over to this garage for tools.(Yes, decent size pipe will take longer to charge but will give you longer between compressor runs and will give you a good flow rate for ugga duggas.)

Definitely sockets in ceiling above bonnet areas for trickle chargers to be located.
NO Floor traps with conduit in the concrete floor
Were not going to agree on that
All the bits getting in and also the ease of reaching the cables.
Only need to look at the state of any type of floor box you see in the office environment.

Just a note on the ev side of things, you're actually limited by the ac charger in the car, so you may find that if the charger in the car is 7.2kw then it won't be any quicker than single phase.
e.g. an EV6 has a 10kw charger onboard, a tycan is 11kw, MGs have 7kw, etc etc.
When we had our Tesla, 3P charging was way faster than single phase.e.g. an EV6 has a 10kw charger onboard, a tycan is 11kw, MGs have 7kw, etc etc.
Either way, he's first fixed it today so it's staying!
