Wow, I had no idea. Thanks chaps. Will put this on a list of things to do when next in London.
Most decent hotels have pleasant (and heated) terraces for a cigar and a drink. Or, as has been mentioned, check out Boisdale - Victoria have a terrace (gets busy) and Canary Wharf has few comfy chairs in their humidor room as well as extensive outdoor terracing.

Just had a Google for you too: https://slman.com/culture/best-cigar-rooms-london

Annoyingly, I was at the Connaught for lunch a few weeks back, had some drinks in the Red Room bar and didn't realise they had a cigar room! banghead
The Cigar shop on Sussex Street Cambridge has an indoor lounge as I am sure do many other regional stores so don't have to go to London. Although there is more choice and generally larger venues.

I’m off to JJ Fox next week. Not had a cigar since before covid so any suggestions for something ‘light’? Not sure going straight in for a Churchill is a good idea!

How about a Hoyo de Monterrey?

Can’t beat an R&J number 1 in those kinds of situations.

I popped into Davidoff in Monaco yesterday (killing a couple of minutes before a meeting).

Seriously limited selection. They had a good selection of the low number Cohiba siglos, a poor selection of Montecristos and Hoyo de Monterrey (a couple of each) 2 Quai Dorsais. No RyJ at all.

For a shop that has always been so well stocked to be so poorly stocked was quite interesting.

For further balance to this, I was in Monaco on Tuesday and, again, spent a few minutes in Davidoff as I passed time ahead of a meeting. Selection isn't quite what it was in 2019..but is vastly better than it was last year. I also thought their prices to be very reasonable, especially for cigars in such excellent condition.

R&J No 1 is a good option, or a wide Churchill.
My preference for a nice light, yet flavourful cigar is the Quay d'Orsay 50.

Haven't the prices of top Cubans aligned worldwide now at a level that is insane? Even from Ravi a box of Siglo VI is now $2,580!

Yeah, a few years ago now.

I've got a good stash from pre hike - and from when they were available in duty free - which I'm only slowly enjoying.

I was at the Peninsular a few weeks ago for lunch and went to their cigar lounge for cigars and drinks - prices in lounges don't seem too shocking given retail prices: 55 for an SD4, 60 for a Belicoso, 95 for a Cohiba Medio Siglo. I'm looking at the receipt biggrin. The drinks bill dwarfed the cigars getmecoat.

A friend of mine was telling me this recently. He says the price of many Cubans has risen over 100%. Some have risen 120%.

Cohiba in particular has risen to almost insane prices, driven by worldwide demand that has grown hugely over the 2-3 years.

i only started smoking cubans seriously since summer last year and prices have shot up since then but if you look around various shops/websites you can get slightly better price but quite sad as will price out cigar smokers from cubans
