I have a 300 the same shape as your 400 and I love it.

The 17 onwards shape is the one I’d want to replace it with, possibly even a 200T but they’re very rare.

Passed the MOT last week, although with an advisory for corrosion on the fuel pipes/filler - so will need to investigate whats shat there.

Can't complain really, it's 18 years old now! smile

I’ve just done my fuel filler as it was leaking. There is a plastic cover at the first bend that seems to collect all the water and rot the pipe.

A pipe from Lexus is about £460. It’s much cheaper from Amayama for the part but postage is £400.

In the end I bought a secondhand one for £35 that was rusty but cleaned up and I coated it in loads of stone chip and underbody wax.

It was about 2.5 hours at my mates garage to get fitted. It’s a bit of a pain but not too disastrous. I didn’t know before we started but the rear left anti roll bar bush is held in by the same bracket. Had I known I would have ordered a replacement bush while I was there.

130k on my 400H now. Advisory free MOT and just keeps doing what I want of it while returning 31.7 average mpg (mixed driving, lots of 2.5 mile cold journeys and motorway work). If it breaks I may just get another, but low mileage ones <100k are silly money.

Toyed with upgrading the ICE to a big Android screen for a few hundred pounds but haven't got around to it yet. Lots on AliExpress.
