Viewing in from the outside, it's almost unbelievable that Chelsea would choose to remove Pochettino, so I'd guess he engineered a situation where he had to leave, as I can't see anyone available who would generally be considered to be a better person for the job.
Now he is free to go to another very big job and has a £6M bulge in his pocket too. Nice work if you can get it.

AC Milan got rid of there manager yesterday, Xavi got the chop as well, just showing the industry is rife with fk wit "directors" running these clubs.
It does open up the market though a bit to some exciting new managers to come through and disrupt football.
Not sure for the next season or so we need that though.
I wonder where Bielsa is at the moment he hasn't been mentioned in any jobs recently.
