Just had a thought. When the tories are kicked out for a couple of generations on July 4th, does that mean Great Britain gets to celebrate the 4th of July every year as well as USA? Can we have a National Holiday as well? At least until they win another GE, which is waay into the future! Seems reasonable to me!

It's not often I'll go to bat for Bojo, but I think this is not as clear cut as this. This unit has had its issues in the past, but have gone through a lot of change. They are the center of Russian propaganda. They are also the unit that did a frankly incredible job in the Siege of Mariupol and their final stand at the Azovstal is stuff of legend. I agree they did an incredible job and I can be 100% behind Ukraine in wanting them to defeat Russia whilst also thinking it's spectacularly poor judgement for Johnson to be holding up a flag with that sort of imagery on it.Stupidity rather than malice but he's still stood in Parliament holding up a bloody big flag with a neo-nazi symbol on it.
