Epic video.

100% agree! Great to get both the F1 and the T50 together, can’t imagine that would be easy!

I see on the AA v2 channel they have mentioned that Matt Pollard has sadly passed away. - The Matt who they created the Mattwood mini festival at Goodwood a couple of years ago.

I guess any positive actions such as the Mattwood events and original videos etc wont get a mention on this thread, as people only want to rip it out of AA's content etc.

I saw on insta that the AA crew is going to be at Caffeine & Machine The Hut tonight to lift a drink to Matt.

There was plenty of commentary on here at the time Alex organised Mattwood and I don’t think I read anything that wasn’t very positive about what Alex did to help Matt. It’s shameful that you are trying to use this to score points.

If Mondial Qv was first Mondial it might be little more loved. Mondial 8 was slower than just about anything comparable at the time and slower than 308 GT4 it replaced.

No surprises with it being a quick / rushed blow over, they did not even remove the roof aerial.

Cannot see the work lasting any length of time.

Can't believe they spent £10k on those two E30s. It doesn't look like a resto to me, just tarting up with as many freebies as they could get their hands on.

Karma would be Ethan arriving and "accidentally" driving in to it with a Range Rover, stoving in the door or boot or something. BANTAAAAAH innit.

I take it you didn't watch any of the videos by Yorkshire Car Restoration detailing the repairs then?
Old people don't like young people having a laugh, that's the feeling I get from this thread.

Like I said before, they bump into cars that the channel has paid for, not each others actual cars. When they do accidentally bump one (like Rory's Jaguar and the Range Rover) they talk about it and the person responsible gets is fixed. Not so much BANTAAAAAAH innit, more car guys being car guys.

Please if you don't like the humour or the style of the videos, stop watching them. It's so weird that you lot watch these videos only to come on here and complain about them, repeatedly!

You're probably older than I am. I like seeing stuff done properly, but that video, IMO, wasn't stuff being done properly. It was polishing an utter turd. Telling that Taylor said about "Juicy" and Him (Taylor) doing all the work, while Alex did what, fannied around and gave up putting a carpet in, after being the one who brute-forced it out incorrectly in the first place.

Stop watching it then. If watching some lads work on a car is enough to get you wound up - find something else.

I like the AA stuff, but then i don't mind watching people mess around with cars for my entertainment. I don't take it too seriously.

And neither do they, that's why I find it so entertaining I think. Reminds me of when me and a mate had a small unit where we'd just dick around with cars over a weekend. Never took anything too seriously and just had a laugh.

Made it down to the AA caffeine & machine meet up, worth the trip alone for the tip Taylor gave me for the z3 temp gauge. Smack the instrument cluster and bingo the gauge springs to life!

We’re also going to see if some alternate seats from Alex’s MX-5 fit better in the car.

In the meantime I purchased these lovely items from the shop to help with the height issue hehe
