What circumstances would they be charged for murder is this a road rage incident?

It caught my eye as well, must be something dramatic / premeditated as it’s almost impossible to be charged with murder using a car. What circumstances would they be charged for murder is this a road rage incident?

Sounds like something was going on beforehand, Troon Way is a couple of miles from the crash site.
Officers are now appealing to anyone who saw three cars travelling in the area of Troon Way or Abbey Lane at around 1.25am, and on the A46 between the Thurmaston Shopping Centre and the Hobby Horse Island.
Enquiries to determine the exact routes that were taken by the cars are ongoing but officers say a silver Skoda Fabia, a grey Audi TT and a blue Seat Leon had been travelling at speed.

The local rumour is a number of cars, at least 4, racing or chasing each other.
Rumour, of course.
From the tweets I've seen from the deceased's family/ friends, the two lads were being chased by the other two cars. Also, turns out the mother is an undercover police officer. Rumour, of course.

Some interesting theories being added to the comments of the daughters IG account, she isn't very popular for a 'influencer'! S16KBW said:

Yeah murder would imply some form of premeditation, There must be some background dispute or something going onIt's long been the case that if you need to kill someone in the UK, a car is the way to do it.

Ahh yes, TikTok. That toxic cesspool of clinical Narcissists. Literally no idea which is the mother and which is the daughter in those photos. What circumstances would they be charged for murder is this a road rage incident?

I did live in Leicester (Braunstone) for a number of years, and the place is an utterly lawless toilet overflowing with vile untrustworthy individuals. Twinned with Ilford, East London, or it should be.

I believe the police would charge with murder in case it turns out that way so they don't have to re arrest with a more serious charge. Very likely won't end up with that being the charge though.
All three of them though? Only one can have been driving. Unless they're not being forthcoming with who was behind the wheel.FatboyKim said:

Oi! I come from Ilford! Well I was born there (many decades ago). Am I to take it that it is no longer the genteel, salubrious place it once was? ... and the place is an utterly lawless toilet overflowing with vile untrustworthy individuals. Twinned with Ilford, East London, or it should be.

Six Hills is a very straight part of what is a very fast road. I should know, 20 years ago I had a ban, for a 3 figure speeding offence exactly there. I've read the dead guys were being chased, and the occupants arrested from the other car had deliberately struck it.
If you're being chased and you're genuinely scared then 3 figures down there is highly likely. I managed it in a 100bhp VTR Saxo! Not a speed which is often survivable in a crash, less so hitting something. God knows what had gone off beforehand for a Mother, Daughter and friend to be chasing them so vehemently.
