I’ll tell you what that is, humour, pure and simple. Seems to be very fashionable to get all uptight about something that isn’t in any way malicious or belittling.and class it as such. I don’t know the guy and neither do you, but to instantly assume that everyone will be offended by everything is a very slippery slope.

Correct. The council thread is hilarious, and does include Daily Mail articles about people complaining about stuff, with photos of them reenacting their sad faces for the camera. Worth a neb if anyone hasn't read it. Lots of it tongue in cheek.
