Wasn't it meant to be 31/01? Wonder why it's been extended.

It was the name being released that I thought was 31/01.

Indeed. Perhaps they are waiting for the outcome of the 'other' matter before a decision is made regarding the naming of the Officer? The current trial doesn't exactly portray the shooter (whoever it was wink ) in a good light

I have no dog in this fight. However, the trial for MX121 is set to start about 11 months after he was charged. This seems to be inline with most other Crown Court trials. It gives appropriate time for both the Prosecution & Defence to build up their 'briefs'

Correct. The CK associates' trial is currently being heard at the Old Bailey (see my Daily Mail link)

That link tells all you need to know

“The man, who cannot be identified, allegedly shot and injured Brandon Malutshi at the Oval Space in Hackney, east London, on the night of August 29, 2022.”

“Jurors heard the man who allegedly shot at Mr Malutshi was not on trial because he died shortly after the events of the case.”

'Two men have been convicted over a gang shooting in an east London nightclub, allegedly carried out by another man who died before he could stand trial.

The alleged gunman cannot be identified for legal reasons.'

Is this who we think it is?

Certainly puts a certain slant on things, if true.

Why 'alleged gunman'?

If he is dead, he is not facing any allegations.

I get why he cannot be publicly named, surely just 'gunman' would be more accurate?

In previous articles they named him. Given that the rest got found guilty it's likely CK would have been to. Obviously that was never tested in court though.
