I you were to chuck down a handful of the flat-headed tacks used to fit roofing felt at the places where the scam-vans park, they would definately get loads of punctures. I wonder how many spare wheels that carry.

Similar, but just as effective......pull up (in BIG truck) and obstruct view. Ask for directions and pretend not to understand.

Or better still, Tell them you have done bang on four and a half hours driving. And have to take a 45 min break, It is the law .Atb Derek

makes one wonder what would happen if one were to accidently point a laser pointer at the van through a weak lens to widen the beam a little ...

Theres a mobile site on the A28 at Bethersden, just south of Ashford. I came through this moring and on a bend one of the BT poles was on the ground and I just caught a view of something under it. I carried on into Ashford.

On my way I saw the scamera van was parked up, hidden behind a BT pole so the camera sign on it could not be seen. However it was pointing its camera at the bend, just round which wqas the downed BT pole. As I went round that bend it turned out the object I had seen earlier was a motorbike, and the police were present, along with a recovery truck. Result was that the traffic coming round the corner was well within the speed limit!

Just hope the motorcyclist was ok, but not sure how he could hit a BT pole that hard in a 40mph limit area.
