Why not put them back in the bag they came in, carefully sellotape the bag back together and take them back for a refund? Or if you've destroyed the bags, buy a couple of new bigger pillows that you do like, carefully take the new ones out of their bags and put the old pillows in the new bags and return them for a refund. Convoluted but should work

Put them in the staff quarters, knock £1 per week off staff wages for upgrading their accommodation, by the end of the year you won't have to buy your pillows in Argos.

You are everything that is wrong with society today.

Donate them to a charity shop and buy some more.

And for the avoidance of doubt, you have precisely zero rights.

I don't think crying on them will help.

You could tell them that they don't have sufficient bite.

Here's a helpful hint for the future: if you're precious about what your pillows are like, don't buy your pillows from a catalogue.

I've spent many a night on an Argos pillow when I couldn't afford something better, and because I couldn't afford a better pillow I didn't complain about it.

^This.

Go to John Lewis and buy some nice pillows that you can feel before buying.

Meh... Take them back.
Argos might give you a goodwill exchange . . . Or might not.

Just don't be a cock about it.

A serious answer here...

Did you buy them blind - were you given any opportunity to inspect them or a sample?
Do they differ significantly from the description?

If so then I'd push them for returning as it's effectively not different from buying online, and their caveat should not (reasonably) apply.

Its only about 9 months until Christmas, as you don't like wasting money give them to somebody as a present who likes flat pillows.

You will have to pay for the wrapping paper though.

It said on a sticker i cant return once opening due to hygiene reasons unless faulty.
I'd not open them until you're sure they're what you're after. Otherwise you won't be able to return them. It's lucky they have a sticker on the outside to point this out.
