Hi Gary, thanks for your email, hope you're well. I had a look at that picture you mentioned. That fella looks like a pretty mean dude - and the dog's not much better.

Now, now, getting abusive about wives isn't on.......

Hiya Dave...

There is no problem showing the registration marks of marked police vehicles....

It's the unmarked ones, I was referring to....

Obviously....

OK, but Tim's 'BKN' has featured quite prominently a few times on TV.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

What a load of bollocks Street, stop being so politically correct.

Car "enthusiasts" ? Don't make me laugh.

I have extensive experience with this particular class of chav scum.

Granted, there are some genuinely nice people mixed up with this scence, but the vast majority have no respect for the law, no real knowledge of cars and cause misery for local residents by behaving like anti social twats.

Common Chav car faults.

Tinting on front windows.

Numberplate in incorrect font, unlit undersized etc. ( every twat with a speedbump scraping rear bumer of zero aerodynamic gain seems to compete to do something different and illegal with this )

Oversized, over weight wheels of incorrect offset, ruining the handling and braking of the car, making it less safe.

Insurance : I am sure there are some people who do go to the effort to correctly insure their pikey creations, but when I have attended cruises, and asked about insurance, despite most of them saying "yes I am insured, most of the mods were not declared to the insurer, or they were not aware it needed declaring". Common response was "but they want me to send a letter" followed by much forehead crinkling as they try to convey how hard this is.

Changing engine, color etc and not informing DVLA.

Illegal/stupid exhausts : There may be some people who find the sound of a asmahatic 4 pot through a length of drain pipe to be sweet music, but I am not one of them, and thank god the law is on my side for once. Stupid ? Generally the bore is too large, leading to collapse of vaccum in the exhaust system, and loss of power.

P.S people with crap underpowered french shopping trolleys should not talk bollocks about putting 2 litre engines in their cars, as

A: Price, with correct exhaust, loom and ECU will exceed value of car.

B: Brakes, suspension etc will not cope with increased power.

C: Renault kindly do it for you out of the factory.

Hiya

Cruisesport.com is a great idea (we did the website for them !) It's not getting enough promotion at the moment but hopefully it will do - legal convoys to the event (Donington Circuit) plenty of room to do what you want to do - track time - 1/4mile - duel races -

Hopefully it will pick up and get a few more people involved

If you visit the site make sure you click on the vote banner - more traffic = more members
