It's the expression my lovely face takes when I see misuse of front fog lights...
and for the rear fog lights I hope
Although I know where you're coming from...my face for rear fog lights isn't as angry, as they don't appear as often as front ones...but I'm with you all the way..

Whilst in practice, am aware of someone challenged by Gwent Police on the basis that copyright of the insignia prevented photos being taken. My advice was Bull@@it. If in a public place, no problem. BiB may try to to intimidate and discourage you but don't back down, just take their number and report to Chief Constable, after you've taken the photos.

Question:
Would i be allowed to take a picture of a Camera Van/ car with plod & hand held laser thing ?
Why you ask?
I've seen some that have been placed rather sneakly & I'd like to share them with the world. so would Mr. Policeman be able to stop me taking pictures?
Nice one mate. You take pictures of the big bad 'Mr Policeman' as you call him, and send them to the local rag. They can then slag off the Police who aren't out there 'catching real criminals'. Your NOT sad at all and i'm sure the whole road safety approach will change thanks to your pictures. Camera vans will become a thing of the past. And all thanks to your hard work . You little urban rebel you!
Yeh its hardly sad Streetcop, if it means that resources are used to put more Bib on the street doing real work instead of sitting in a van raking in the coffers.
On a 10 mile journey on the motorway yesterday, I saw 2 people drive almost totally onto the hard shoulder (whilst they were on their mobiles) and then swerve back onto the carriageway.
More bib on the streets means more chance of catching these morons.

Not if they are breaking the rules.
Otherwise we have a 'one rule for them, one rule for us' situation....
It is OK for them to take a picture of us breaking a rule (speeding) but not OK for us to take a picture of them breaking a rule (lets say illegal parking)?
Hmmmm
