Sometimes it happens that someone buys something without understanding exactly what it is they've bought. If you aren't happy with it, and thought it was going to be a proper tree, then take it back and get your money back.
Yes OP, you must do this. Right now.Yup. I used to sell Christmas Trees when our family had a garden centre. I *think* on this occasion, the op may be pulling your chain.
Having said that, it was the time of year we had to service all the crazies, who didn't come to the centre during the Summer. We actually sold a tree which was held together by gaffer tape because the customer wanted a certain height, which we didn't have as it was Christmas Eve.

I've just been to a garden centre and paid £75 for a tree, however I've noticed that it's had its root cut off. I've called the garden centre and they are saying I shouldn't try to plant it, that I should keep it indoors and it's only supposed to last until just after Christmas.
This doesn't seem right and I cannot help but feel I'm being had over. Any legal experts able to advise on this please?
