Honestly will someone switch off the bot!

If he was in fact the incident up here in Scotland, I'd be seeking some DECENT legal advice rather than blowing about some utter stupidity on PH. I'm not TRYING to be purposefully self-righteous, as I am not whiter than white however with the laws being so stringent (especially north of the border, as i understand) this is a bloody stupid thing to do.

I guess him mentioning a (motor)bike probably means he wasn't in a car.
The SB bot isn't quite there yet...
But I'm sure it's learned a brand new registry for its algorithm. Its relentlessly expansion toward world PH dominance continues.

124mph past a police car in a 50mph limit.......

................Fair play.

All I can add in seriousness is that when my mothers ex partner got snapped doing 120mph on his Triumph in a 60 limit he received a 12 month ban, 3 points and a £300 fine after his day in court. He had a clean licence beforehand.

To be fair, 50mph is ridiculously slow along this road. Pretty much every car will be doing 70-80mph along there.

To be even more fair, 124mph is probably a tad too quick biggrin
Tad & quick in one sentence!.

Ironic, Dr Tad Winslow

Grow up.
Thats not as daft as it sounds, South Wales Police used to have an unmarked Focus ST that used to regularly goad people into "races" before turning on the blues and two's. I had a heads up about him early on but he tried it 3 or 4 times with me when I had my MK2 RS. My friend in an R32 took the bait hook line and sinker, blues and twos came on at 100mph on the M4.

Original example was a bit extreme I must admit though hehe

Another classic post from the Barbara bot rofl

I would echo other sentiments, get yourself some proper legal representation.

That bit of road used to be the main A1 south and was a 70 l it's only a 50 now due to the silly Edinburgh road policies).

In a quick car it's easy to exit the roundabout and get into 3 figures where it now says 50.

No excuse for passing a marked car though!

Don't post anything else on here or anywhere else regarding this.

Unless you have a fair bit of prior experience of the law, fairly sure this will be a pretty bad experience, but in a few years it'll be in the past.

When they pulled you over did they say [{calculations in head}] ' I had to do over two hundred miles an hour to catch up with you!'

I suspect a ban and a (new harsher?) income based fine.

DWDC AND ATTENTION because you didn't spot the jam sandwich you myopic loon.

I understood it as he'd come down to 124 by the time they caught up enough to do anything.

You got balls mate I'll give you that. I know it's cliche but that road must have been 50 for a reason. 124 is frightening.
