Fair enough, we have gone through the list of who you dont work for, but I am still puzzled why you needed the disclaimer on your profile. Obviously you dont need to say exactly who you work for, but it is interesting why you had to put it... also it is generally interesting!

I just like to make it clear that's all.
It's because inevitably where you work in motor related fields with a degree of expertise, then people naturally assume that you are representing the views of those you work for &/or your colleagues as well.

So what harm is there in stating the 'field'? There's no reason to do so but others have explined eloquently why it might be helpful.

Just found this thread, from reading Von's posts on other forums, he is one of the most knowledgable trolls I have come across , maybe you lot should do some research, your allegations of troll are making you look rather foolish

I dont think vonhosen is a troll. He's far too tenacious to be called a troll....most would have crashed and burned at this stage.
10/10 for staying power...
PS, youre still wrong.

Who would you rather have:

Spindrift?

or Vonhosen?

I know which I'd prefer, the difference is that the former is a raving lunatic, the latter has strongly held views and can articulate them.

Omegac,

I'd suggest that to be a more complete member of this community you should be a bit more helpful.

If anybody does a search for von hosen then he's everywhere, on all the forums. My guess he has a vested interest somewhere along the line. I'd be naieve to think otherwise.

And what do you think that interest is? I'd be curious to know.

I'm sure you would. You seem to know a lot about him, what do you think his interests are. A potted history would suffice, save us all doing the research. What about your position, you could have been more helpful?

Oh yeah, I remember he left to join a speed camera partnership.

My gut feeling is it's not Streetcop, although I do think this guy works for a SCP despite his denial. He's too tenacious, almost like he has a guilty conscience and is here to justify himself to himself. I think.
