Magic Day Castle Combe (Under 17s car club)
Discussion
As a Marshall at the Club - just wanted to say thanks to the people that brought cars along. In general, everyone was well behaved and a good sum of money was raised for Charity.
The weather was brilliant (better than last year by a mile) and there were some utterly gorgeous cars there. Highlights for me were the NSX and also the Lexus ISF .
A few photos:
Not every day a 13 year old gets to drive this: (Yes it is a police car):

I met him at McDonalds down in old SohoWhere you drink milkshake or a great big cup of Mc-cola
C-O-L-A cola
He wheelspun past me making his little car dance
So I checked out his plates and the info came back and showed Nova
N-O-V-A nova, no-no-no-no Nova
Well he wasn't the worlds most physical guy
But when I flicked on my lights I swear he started to cry
Pull over, pull-pull-pull-pull over
Well I'm not dumb but I can't understand
Why he maxed out his car only to get banned
Oh poor Nova, no-no-no-no Nova...
T'was a great day, and thanks for the BiB for bringing their toys - and a very sobering Honda Type R following a fatal accident. The standard of driving of the under 17s in the club is amazing; it is a fantastic club.
It was a bit strange driving around the track and to look in the mirror to see a Police car being driven by a 14 year old through.
