I love the "Camera locations" page.

Is it just my computer, or are they all "blind2 links? I cannot get any area to give me camera info. when I click on them. Ooh, the web designers must get a real laugh from that one!!

"The Government has demanded that cameras are visible and conspicuous to motorists and placed only in areas with high level of casualties"

I didnt think it was the gov that demanded the visibility?
or am I wrong?

ah but for a REAL laugh (or to send your blood pressure sky-high!) have a look at the q and a part espec. the reference to richard brunstom's comments.

the answer shows what a myopic gang of imbaciles we're all up against. rational arguments are lost on these people. (i could go on but fear for the legality of my real thoughts)

Having checked out the site i think i might have stumbled on the real money-spinner. When an accident happens, someone has to pay for the cleanup, (They being the Government, not the insurance company). If you can reduce the damage caused by accidents you can reduce the cost to fix it. Hence extrapolating this out in a logical manner, Johnny can order him self another Jag by reducing the public (Scum) transport system.

p.s. So can we all please!. When we have an accident try to avoid anything that might have a significant cost to repair it. Remember that using pedestrians to stop is a bit iffy but the insurance company has to pay out for them not the government. They are also a nice soft squishy way of slowing down the motor. Better even than crumple zones on cars.
