I recon 318ti is some one trolling.
Sorry bud, you're wrong. I know him, he's for real and he got fed up.
I think it was the "scum" post that finally sent him over the edge.
By the way, he's isn't Ali V (that's ALISON btw ) OR Careful Driver. They were 2 people who were introduced to PH today who got so annoyed with the many posts from self-indulgent wieners they lost it too.
The fence got a bit higher today I think
The wedge between the police and the public is petty speed enforcement. If you don't accept that what do you think the problem is?

Speaking to Tim this morning I think he got fed up with the fact that a loud minority on here think it's ok to call police officers "scum" etc, but got upset when he tried to offer advice that they didn't like.
It's hard not to take it personally sometimes.
I understand that, and calling the BiB on here 'scum' is unecessary, but he thought it was a good idea to make comments towards Porsche drivers. The guy has the mind of a 6 year old he doesnt like name calling unless he's doing it. He thought that threatening me with the 'Report Abuse' button would be terrifying () And the only advice we heard from him was "Dont speed" over and over again...it was like a stuck record!

I don't see why you people moan about the location of cameras at all. It doesn't matter where they place them because you shouldn't be speeding any way.
Oh dear. Yes what you say is literally true. BUT many speed limits currently in force are bollocks. If they were set at the proper (85th percentile) level few people would be speeding. I know some would. And they'd be nicked and that would be a good thing. Of course there are nutters out there. Catch 'em, eh?

Why don't you lobby the government for changable speed limits for the times of day or maybe each driver could have his own limit?
Oh that's bollocks and unworkable too. I know that speed limits have to cater for numpties as well as the civilian equivalent of a Class 1. Its just that many speed limits seem to be set on political grounds rather than safety grounds. I know. I am currently joining a local committee about traffic calming in my area as I'm afraid in order to appease a tiny minority of vocal individuals a large majority have been made to suffer a very inconvenient local traffic calming regime.
If we set more realistic speed limits fewer people would break them. And those that did would have less excuse. As it is...breaking the speed limit is something that most people do every day...and still road deaths are at their (almost) lowest ever. Therefore this cannot be right. Until we have a seperate, rational, pro-motorist body independently setting speed limits then I'm afraid that Joe Public will rightly take exception to them.
I do. And yet, for the most very most part, I do actually drive within the speed limit. Why? Because I can see that the limit is reasonable. Where its not...well...I'll take my lumps if I get caught..bleat about it on here for a bit and accept the points in the end... but it won't be because I did something stupid in terms of speed. It'll be wrong because I did something stupid with respect to the law. That's different. And I'll do my best to change things whenever I can.
