The point is if you are going to talk about laws, about black and white rules and use the 'illegality' as an argument to why it's chav / dumb / stupid then you should take a hard look at yourselves when you break other laws. People are far too angry about this. No idea why. I'm not saying it's big or clever to have an illegal olate but it is my personal opinion and I'm sure that of some others that they prefer how it looks from a stylistic point of view.
That is an opinion and you can't really argue an opinion unless you are trying to be a dictator of how others view the world.
As mentioned in a post before there is no need to be throwing abuse at people because of it. that would not happen to someone's face !

I would be interested in the exact reason why your Chav plate is illegal but given that you do not wish to post a picture I will respect that.
You have said several times your Chav plate is mispaced so I will hazard a guess that it falls into one of three categories similar to these Chavplates spotted in 'the wild' only yesterday:
GRANTS
Should read GR11 ANTS displayed on a Range Rover. The 11 had been butchered to read A and the plate mispaced.

Should read S3 AND displayed on, you guessed it, another Range Rover. The 3 had been butchered to read E and the plate mispaced.

Most of those plates are truly good.
But they certainly are not all the misplaced bodged up versions being discussed on here or that crappy plate thread.
