What right has a police officer got to ask you about gloves. How dare he invade your privacy. As for looking at you. That's outrageous. Blocking your way. That's like almost an arrest. POLICE STATE!!!!

Just to save some posters the need to comment.
Very good smile

Very true. And rofl @ Mr Annie. How dare you be sarcastic - don't you know they pay your wages! wink
Don't you dare stop him being sarcastic. I pay his wages and I demand the Police use sarcasm against the stupid. It makes for great TV.
Very good point! They say that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but I guess the police vary their wit to suit the company they have to keep.

Reminds me of another story. I was walking home from the train station late one saturday night, and just as I left the station car park, the cops had pulled up a young lad in a Saxo. The cop was just reaching the driver as I walked past.

"Evening Michael" he said as the driver wound the window down, "I'm pleased to meet a world champion, but I'm a wee bit confused. You see, I thought the German Grand Prix wasn't until tomorrow, and I kinda thought it was gonna be in Germany, not here on the streets of my wee town."

He glanced up and grinned at me over the roof of the car as I walked past. No doubt the young Saxo driving lad thought that he was being brutally victimised, but I thought it was brilliant.

I personally would be very amused if a policeman opened with that line after pulling me over hehe
