I don’t understand why any one’s getting fined. If stopped you just have to say you’re exempt.Easy.

They have been upheld in Court the links are there as you know and they all related to all the offences under the regulations including masks. TFL are not going a different route they use the same legislation. It's not just TFL. They went a different route (Conditions of carriage where they could not issue FPNs) when the legislation changed, but now are back with the regulations.
Take these people for example not sure those courts got the cannot be upheld memo.

I don’t know where you got that from but there’s no need for proof of exemption from masks. Anyway where would you get proof? Our GP’s aren’t providing them. Here’s some more recent data. Obviously the numbers have increased.

If that's aimed at me, the "deranged rant, misconstrued data and terrible grammar" comment was not aimed at you personally but at the graphic you posted.
I stand by the other bit - you changing your story about being exempt, or not - as that's been the recurring theme to this thread.
I’m exempt because I say I am. I know you and many others consider that wrong but that’s how it is.I stand by the other bit - you changing your story about being exempt, or not - as that's been the recurring theme to this thread.

He's doing it successfully elsewhere too, currently his charity pay thread.
That’ll be the thread with 4 pages of discussion in a day, ok 1 of those pages were you and your chums trolling. You and your mates may not agree with the views but it’s a valid debate.Edited by bad company on Wednesday 12th January 21:37

I also found my limit today. Tested positive for Covid and have to travel so I’ll wear a mask.
I'm probably due a parrot here, but why? If you genuinely don't believe that masks make a difference to the spread of Covid, then why would you wear one now? Is it something to do with the airline, or do you mean a 'proper' mask.(Genuine question, by the way, as I also don't think masks do much, although I personally wouldn't fly with or without one after a positive test.)

Good luck with the next test, hopefully the other one was a false positive (although IIRC you are on holiday in the US so a bit longer out there might not go amiss!)
If you’d met Mrs BC you wouldn’t ask why I’m masked while positive.

Which is what the majority of people will experience, but ‘man gets annoying cold symptoms from Covid’ isn’t much of a headline, so they focus on the deaths instead.
Everyone’s situation is different, but I highly recommend not testing as a way around all this nonsense. Been working for me so far.
I tested as I was due to fly home from Florida. There’s no requirement to test before flying but doing so meant another week in the sun funded largely by travel insurance. Also flying knowing I have Covid just doesn’t seem like the right thing to do.Everyone’s situation is different, but I highly recommend not testing as a way around all this nonsense. I’m not going to report the positive test to the NHS thingy, that could open a bag of worms.

Well, best not tor try not wearing a mask on a plane still.........Miami-London flight turned back because of a non-mask wearer. Flight cancelled. Tough for the other passengers.

Sounds like there’s more to that story than the mask refusal.https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/american-airlin...
