LOL no I'm not the nasty van driver who scuffed his alloy, but I have over the years had many (dozens) of cars delivered from across the country and I know what to expect from this sort of service.
I hope the OP gets his key back but reading his comments it sounded like he expected far too much from this sort of service, its not like buying an item on Amazon and sending it back when its damaged.
i think he expected his car to be delivered in the same condition in which it was collected. That is not expecting too much. I hope the OP gets his key back but reading his comments it sounded like he expected far too much from this sort of service, its not like buying an item on Amazon and sending it back when its damaged.
Your comparison is interesting that it is acceptable to return an item to amazon which was delivered damaged which is part of a huge postal network via couriers or Royal Mail and there is a degree of acceptance that damage could occur, however the driver has one item worth infinitely more than an amazon purchase and you think he should expect the same service? The delivery company are making a profit of some sort on the delivery so why should that mean they can treat it like a DVD in a box?
