You don't have to prove anything to anyone on here. Fingers crossed for you that you get it sorted.
Thanks. I just want the car back on my drive, will be selling it on with a fully clear HPI as soon as that happens.joshcowin said:
Do not start providing evidence, sounds like you have enough going on!!
I hope this turns out OK for you, seems like your a good bloke!
Good point - shouldn't really be feeding the trolls. I hope this turns out OK for you, seems like your a good bloke!
I'm hoping that this is sorted in the next couple of weeks.

Why have you not asked for a time and date of delivery plus where it is being stored as you might collect it personally thus saving them the delivery and storage charge.
I really don't get the fear of not asking what's the worst to happen thy say sorry we cannot disclose as the location is secret
I have obviously asked this several times, haven't had a concrete answer yet.I really don't get the fear of not asking what's the worst to happen thy say sorry we cannot disclose as the location is secret

IanA2 - do you honestly feel that you would be successful in charging the bank the rental charge?! In my view it would be useless and could just make you look like a fool.
These people are employees following procedures and rules, be polite and personable, I would imagine they deal with a lot of irate people, in order to stand out or receive good treatment you'd do well to treat them like humans! Please do not start threatening them, its not their fault that you are in this situation!
Precisely. Acting like a tool isn't going to help anyone here. These people are employees following procedures and rules, be polite and personable, I would imagine they deal with a lot of irate people, in order to stand out or receive good treatment you'd do well to treat them like humans! how can the hpi marker be removed unless someone pays off the finance. i can't imagine the original seller would, and why would the bank if it is still unpaid?
Probably because the bank realise they're currently outside of the law, they may be within their rights and procedures (questionable but that's the line they've taken with me all along) but the car belongs to me. They will recover their debt in other ways from the seller.Welshbeef said:
st so OP has no legal right to the vehicle.
No wonder there is no Concrete date for its return until the debt is cleared either by the chap OP originallly bought it from or auction the car any left over goes to registered keeper.
Gulp.
I don't understand your aggression to everyone on here.No wonder there is no Concrete date for its return until the debt is cleared either by the chap OP originallly bought it from or auction the car any left over goes to registered keeper.
Gulp.
V5 can be in anyones name until I get the car.
This whole problem is because a V5 doesn't mean ownership. Barclays know that legally I have ownership, that's why they are removing finance marker (this has been checked and has been done), and giving me the car back.

I couldn't care if they crushed it and returned it to the OP as a key ring.
This saga has gone on for so long now and is so bizarre, that it's lost any hint of being a true event.
Booooooooooooooooooorriiinnng!
I came here to ask for advice or if anyone else has been in the same scenario, and all I've had is ridicule. This saga has gone on for so long now and is so bizarre, that it's lost any hint of being a true event.
Booooooooooooooooooorriiinnng!
