Don't click on the link because it seems to give him some pleasure/bragging rights. The pictures are remarkable for their dullness.
Don't click on the link, he's about ready to pop!

The *only* things that are (potentially) illegal about the OP's behaviour are:
1) Harassment - Going to need to be more than a single photo across a car park for that!
2) Terrorism - maybe there is something nearby but if that was the case why would the police be asking if he'd taken pictures of a woman?
3) The supermarket has banned photography on it's land - Going to need to be some notification there though!
Perhaps the subject of the photo works in a sensitive occupation and/or has been the subject of harassment. Someone mentioned Cuadrilla, so maybe he works for them and has been instructed to challenge and report behaviour which seems out of place. I'm sure we remember the disgusting things people who worked for Huntingdon Life Sciences were subjected to a few years ago...

Perhaps he's under some sort of protection process...

Or is fearing an investigation by the DWP... etc wink

I took a picture of a car which interested me parked outside my niece's primary school.

Crossing patrol asked, in a friendly manner, what I was up to. Told her I'm into cars, showed her the pic, had a nice little chat and we got on with our days.

It's really not difficult.

You know that, I know that, but somehow the OP seems to have missed out on some basic life skills.

I'm worried that the Police will be knocking on my door shortly, given that I've just taken this picture of a black Audi in Aldi car park.

When you get challenged by a council officer for being a bit leftfield in taking pictures of THEIR streetlamps (private property after all) say you are doing a photomontage on sodium street lamps' longevity and SMILE (but not in a sexy way). Your day will be brighter thenbiggrin

While everyone is deciding now to jump on the OP is a bellend type bandwagon I am still baffled as to why the police wasted their time on this.
The OP was doing something perfectly legal and some Neanderthal complained to the Bibs that the OP was taking a photo of his wife.
Yet the Bibs bothered to investigate. Searching for the OP's address from the DVLA etc. Yet somehow the OP is at fault not the fking time wasting of a Neanderthal who is the one who deserves all the scorn here.

For those of you giving the OP a hard time - shame on you. He is allowed to be weird. He is allowed to take photos of people.

tts who phone then police for absolutely no legitimate reason and tts who work for the police failing to recognise a bullst complaint are the ones who should be ridiculed. Not the OP.

The crop was done on purpose - ??

I'm glad you found the hooklinesinker.
An idea that I've been churning in my mind for quite a while and decided to go for it & see where it went.
If you wish, let the cat out of the bag on the topic pages.
No offence meant to anybody, it was just a forum game.

ding

It would take a special kind of bell-end to make themselves look such a tosser for entertainment value.

He reckons its some form of experiment he's been planning for a while. Great, hopefully the next one will be shooting himself in the foot.
Oh wait, that's this one.

Wow. Just wow. Won't ever be able to get my head around this type of space cadet behaviour......

OP, genuine question, what sort of age are you? And do you worry about a world shortage of nose flute/crack pipe apparatus?
