Has it been established yet whether the OP's wife even had a baby? hehe

The fact that a malapropism is commonplace doesn't make it any less dumb. There is a distinct difference in meaning between burden and standard.
That’s all well and good, but language evolves and what was once incorrect becomes correct. My example of the word mortgage is that, in common parlance, people apply for mortgages, they take out mortgages, they pay off their mortgage and so on. In reality the borrower is the one giving the mortgage. However, if you asked around, an overwhelming majority of people would say that the lender gives the mortgage and the borrower accepts it.

I’m sure you’ll now state that the overwhelming majority are dumb, but that would only prove my point that it would mark you (or Janesmith) out for all the wrong reasons.

well...we'll just have to wait until next week for the next episode. I reckon this is a misdirection. The story is trying to make you suspect there is something going on with the other guy and then in the finale maybe we find out that the paternity test shows that it's the boss who's the father eek

fk £86million for a new Eastenders set, this way better value for money biggrin
Does that mean the scratch was from a high heel or trouser zip whilst getting banged on the bonnet?
In 2002, my Porsche 968 got dented and scuffed bonnet at the a Village hotel car park and cctv showed it was due to some nice random lady getting banged on the bonnet! You could see two proper indents from her buttocks, clearly she'd been to the gym a lot!

Did you manage to track her down? Surely DNA evidence left at the scene

She seemed to enjoy herself! Never found out who it was but was not happy with the hotel as their security has watched it all on cctv, not ventured out the front door to ask them to stop it!!
