Airwheel similar to segway, likely penalty for use ?
Discussion
Saw one of these whirring across Southwark Bridge last week. It looked extremely handy. It was in the bike lane.
I would like to see the EAPC regs amended to allow these things to operate in the same places as conventional electric bikes. I can't see any particular public interest reason why that should not happen.
That means not on the pavements, btw.

It seems that the Ryno hasn't shipped. I've just pinged them an email.
I've spent the last week playing on Segways, and in the right environment - nipping down to the shops in a small but hilly French village - they are great.
I also reviewed a Vanmoof Electrified bike - technically illegal as it's 250w - and thought it great fun, but not £2k fun.
I might see if I can borrow an Airwheel.

saw some hipster on one of these blasting around spitalfields.
pretty cool looking thing but i would think it takes a bit of effort and stability
No more than a bike really. The wheel corrects for front to back stability, so its just steering to correct for left right. pretty cool looking thing but i would think it takes a bit of effort and stability
The two wheel version (side by side) is easier as it will balance on its own.
