Parking Ticket Help!
Discussion
just been shopping for a few hours, returned to my car to find a fine saying i did not have a ticket. i did have a ticket but it had come off some how fallen on to the seat. i have said ticket, i was just wondering if it worth appealing to explain this or will they still do me for not displaying a ticket on the windscreen anyway? also do they take a digital photo as proof that it was not on the windscreen and that the fine had been issued, i really dont want to pay £30 for £1 ticket.
any help would be great cheers

What time was the ticket issued? Was it dark...
If it was, chances are the picture taken is worthless...
You've got the valid parking ticket, legally paid for - appeal with this as proof if it was dark!
I got away with this one when the parking voucher fell on the floor

they can only chase you based on contract law ie you enter car park and enter in to a contract by entering it after seing displayed sign.
I seem to remember a case of shome chalining doggey glue on ticke that fell off windscreen not long ago and wining.

Unless the parking is decriminalised in the local authority, in which case the council run car parks will be covered too - ie. you get a PCN and can only appeal to the council, then PATAS and then the High Court (if you have the money).
