worst road rage - 8.20am denham A40 can you help
Discussion
hi guys,
still shaking, but wondered if any one saw anything??
came out of home this morning- pulled out onto the roundabout, next thing a blue citreon estate KT03 FWT comes flying past, cuts me up, then stops. usual exchange of h lamps and gestures. then he moves on. i keep well back and he proceeds to stop and start until we went our seperate ways.
coming up to the end of the dual carriageway A413 towards Denham, see him coming up fast in my rear view mirror. the lane goes from 2 into 1, he overtakes on the inside then pulls straight in front of me, then stops. Right in 3 lanes of the A40 from Gerrards Cross down to Denham.
Lorries and cars were swerving to avoid me, everytime i tried to go round him , he swerves violently in front of me and stops. eventually he moves on, and then at the bottom of the hill where you can turn left at the lights towards denham A412- he stopped, blocking me in and trying to get me out of the car. obviously i had all doors and windows locked. everytime i tried to get round him he stood in front of me. i dialled 999 and then he let me by.
If you was there or saw anything can you come back to me. you wouldn't have missed it, the traffic was backed up and cars were swerving around me. Blue ford focus.
Thanks for your help

t sorry to hear that. I do that journey every morning (Wendover to South Harrow) when i'm back from uni. I normally leave Wendover at 6:45 as there is less traffic.
I did the journey this morning and it was the first time nobody has cut me up for the last couple of weeks.
If you haven't already you should report it as if he does it again it could be worse for the next person.
PS. Have you seen this thread about the Thames Valley Meet on the 25th April...............

Sorry to hear about this, im afraid i have nothing really constructive to say apart from you need a "BIG" man in the car with you for these kinds of tossers.
Hope youre not too traumatised. Make a detailed statement to the police, if it helps to get this kind of twat off the roads then all to the good.
Go take some chill out time, and be safe in the knowledge that he's going to meet someone much bigger and madder than him one day and then itll be his turn to be scared shitless.

Definately go to the local Police Station which from memory wil be Gerrards Cross,(Thames Valley Police) and report the matter and all details, no matter how small.
Im going into work on Saturday (fingers crossed) and i too will make some enqs.
As luck would have it, a good friend of mine has just transferred Forces to our Trafpol garage and until last week he was based at Gerrards Cross. I will also ply him for info when i see him.
These nuttas should be taken off the road and dealt with ASAP........If you like, you can email me the info too, but its vitally important that you go to the Police Station and make a written note of the vehicle details with date and time (if you havent already).
Hope that this helps......im just sorry that i wasnt at work and stopped this person this morning.

Pardon me for straying from the party line, but is it possible that you're not 100% the victim in this?
Could you have cut the guy up (not seen him) in the first place? Perhaps quite badly?
I've been known to impress my annoyance on drivers who've cut me up badly - and I'm sure they all thought that they werwe 100% in the right as well, purely because they'd been away with the fairies moments earlier.

Mrs Fish said:Perhaps not but I'm just trying to establish some perspective, while everyone else fawns around one of the PH girlies like she's a bitch on heat.
It still doesn't mean the guy is in the right though, even if this was the case.
Nowt personal TVRTotty, just putting another PoV.
appreciate what youre saying careezy,
when i pulled onto the roundabout made sure there was enough gap and pulled away fast, not dawdling in his way, he hadn't even got onto the roundabout when i was leaving my exit, so had put his foot down to make a point. For which i held back as he was driving very aggressively and eratically then.
being held hostage in my car is not something i want to go through again, and i pray that it never happens to a wife or girlfriend or daughter of yours.
to stop my car dead in 3 lines of traffic when vehicles were doing 60-70mph was not quite a normal gesture i would think. Especially as he was making it very hard for them to avoid me!! yep everyone has a reaction, but i take this to be over and above the norm.
even if it happened to a man
