Driver clips cyclist, doesn't tweet about it
Discussion
If it was a narrow country lane as described i.e. not wide enough for two cars to pass easily then she was clearly going too fast for the road conditions, regardless of whether the cyclist was on the "wrong" side of the road. She is probably lucky it wasn't a large vehicle she came across.
The tweet was ridiculous and she deserves to be judged if she wishes to use social media to promote her stupidity and ignorance. Silly woman.

First that Police commissioner 'assistant' is taken down by her tweets and now this one. What is it with people needing to put EVERYTHING (inc illegal!!??) online!?
She doesn't even seem that sorry about doing it, just sorry she got caught. Modern day natural selection at work if you ask me....

What kind of person thinks they've knocked someone off a bike and doesn't stop?

I felt his handlebar just clip my wing mirror and my initial reaction was to brake, stop and look in the mirror. He did wobble slightly but he was upright, he was fine.

The cyclists response to the tweet:The tweet was ridiculous and she deserves to be judged if she wishes to use social media to promote her stupidity and ignorance. Silly woman.
" Oh hi! That was me you hit and FYI, you didn't knock me off, I'm too hard to be hurt by a pissy micra or whatever it was you were driving."
This response and having seen them both interviewed leads me to be more believing of her side of the story than his. I understand the Police will be taking no action, so maybe they see it that way too.
