I was caught speeding

Just got caught speeding. Not in a town just the end of a sleepy village
No excuse it really was my fault
Just wondered if anyone knows of a way out of this??
I didn't admit to speeding, sat there said I was sorry which I am, took the yellow ticket and he left

I signed the fixed penalty notice so looks like i'm stuffed

Just a thought but the copper was on his own in the car and just showed me his gun with 46 showing on it.
I thought there had to be two of them??
Also he pulled me over about 1 mile from where he said i was speeding.
