Got a nip in the post this morning from a road where there is a scamera and a van regulaly parked by the side of the road. I pass this spot a LOT. Sometimes 6 times a day in the course of work. Both camera and van positions are engrained in my memory and are obvious for all to see. There is NOOOOO way I would have gone past either at 36 mph (30 limit), even in my sleep whilst dreaming I was driving a GT40 or whatever that was invisible to all forms of speed detection. Obviously will ask for photographic evidence, wont sign etc, but at the moment I am so sorry for reading posts simillar to this and not feeling more sympathetic. I will stop and have a conversation with the operator of the van next time I pass it, but doubt it will do any good. Mean time, any advice for me when I finally calm down ?

Thanks but there is as I said, NOOOOOO way that I was doing 36. Absoutley NOOOOO way. I know this location like the inside of my wallet. I always obey the limit here. a) cos its a built up area and b) cos its got a camera and a regular van.

Streetcop, you dont seem to be reading what I write. I know that every time I pass the camera and van on this road that I am whithin the 30 limit. I never have to think " shit I hope I wasnt over 30" cos I go down this road so many times a week, I know camera/van,traffic lights, side turnings, pedestrians etc, didnt happen, Nooo Way.

Great, if I broke speed limits in stupid places and drank and drove I guess I might want to move into your area.
