Steady on fella it doesn't sound like he's had a NIP yet!
That table is for not guilty plea if it goes to court.
OP, you won't get offered a course, it will be 3 points and a £100 standard fine I expect.
I wont get offered a course as the speed was to high? whats the threshold for a course for a first offence? That table is for not guilty plea if it goes to court.

First things first.
Were you stopped by the officer?
If so, what were you told?
Yes, as per my original post I was stopped by a single crewed officer hiding in an entrance. He told me he was reporting me for the offence of speeding and I would receive a letter in 2-3 weeks that I will need to act on. There was not really a lot to be said, I was speeding, he caught me.Were you stopped by the officer?
If so, what were you told?

There are no special considerations for a first offence. It's the same each time.
Here's Notts police statement, but they are all generally the same. (Some local variances.)
To be eligible you must meet this criteria
1.you admit to being the driver of the vehicle and this is received by us within 42 days of the date of the offence.
2.you haven't attended a Speed Awareness course within the last three years
3.the speed you were travelling at the time of the offence must fall within the acceptable speed range
(Speed limit + 10% + 9mph). For example, in a 30 mph limit – you could attend a course up to 42mph inclusive.
On the course I did the average was about 35 mph.
You will get a Notice of Impending prosecution (NIP)in the post soon, you decide if you want to cough, fill in the forms, then they will decide if it's a FPN or a course and notify you in writing.

They do need to PROVE that the driver IS who the driver says he is.
If the driver turns up in court and says it wasn't him, and they have not established it was actually him, the case could fold, and the driver be acquitted.
Surely this is a load of b0llocks, I gave the officer my photo ID, ie my licence, he could see it was me? Is that no proof enough? If the driver turns up in court and says it wasn't him, and they have not established it was actually him, the case could fold, and the driver be acquitted.

I expect the car had a camera in it as well or do no all traffic cars have cameras?

I can't understand why this is such a big deal for you all!
What is there not to understand? People say they get done for 34 in a 30, Loon does not think people do get done for 34 in a 30 and as he is happy to be proved wrong by putting his money where his mouth is and will donate some cash to charity if if someone proves him wrong... but even though people say they get sone for 34 no one seem to have a ticket to show that...I can show my ticket for 54 in a 40 if that helps!
