verbal NOIP

just curious ;)

but say i got pulled by a unmarked car, supposedly doing near and estimated 99 mph on a quiet 60 when overtaking a slower moving vehicle, in a safe place, no junctions etc on a straight, I do not recall being given what the legal advisor says is a verbal NOIP what happens next?

is there a time limit for the court?

do the police have to make contact in the meantime?

what is the time limit?

if the police say the offender was doing "well over that speed" but their equipment only cought the offender at say, 99mph, where does it stand ?

ive never had a rum in with the police before in my life, will this go in my favour?

ive also had a full clean motorcycle license for 4 years also, owning a performance ducati, if I get a ban will this effect the bike lisence also?

yeah its a first offence, and I just want to know what is going to happen. I need a car for work, to earn a living, and I really do doubt i was doing 99mph to be honest and they diden't show me the video.

I asked the officers if they thought I was driving dangerously "no" was I in full controll of the vehicle, they had a snigger and said "well yes" so I asked was I endangering other road users then they changed the subject.

basically I think it comes down to, young geezer, porsche, hes gotta be up to mischief.

and even if they dont send anything in the post they have done their job of making sure I drive like an angel now, i dont even go over 70mph on the motorways!

so if you see a dark blue porker on your travels, and wonder why its 1-2mph below the speed limit that will be me and now you know.

Ill prolly get pulled for suspected drink driving or other offences now because im concentrating TOO much on the roads.. .. ..
