Cheshire Speed Trap? Ist Legal?

This story come courtesy of pal of Mad Doc's sister. She live in outskirt of Culcheth - Warrington. She drive to work today through village called Glazebrook. She come out of 60 mph into 30 mph - und just before the station und before the village - she see a cop.. in what look to be a driveway - but ist really the lead-in to a field..

He has mobile doo-dah on tripod. She ist OK - she think - she say she was in line of traffic und all cars at speed of 34 mph per her RA - which sound no alert...

She ask some questions about this.. it seem this guy hide in field und do long range from tiem to time as well .. und his fave perch ist in the NSL where this road cross the M62. - und where he cop M62 drivers as well no doubt .. I am afraid I do not know the A road number - only that it link thE A572? - cannot remember ... (ist the one which go past Risley Remand)_ to the A57 und the toll bridge und M6 Thelwall ...

It seems ist a right revenue raiser. To all who travel in this area - be careful

Ist definitely NSL up to the village where it change to immediate 30 mph.

Chatted to the person who give us this information last night on phone. She say that there were no warning signs nor any cam rectangles anywhere.

Ist certainly not per any of the guidelines they Cheshire Prats claim to adhere to.. on their site ..

She called in village Post Office und was told that the cop gets 4 per minute as they enter into the 30 mph from the 60 mph zone .. und many many more further up in the NSL where it passes over the M62 - ist the bridge before the M62 meet M6 at Warrington.

So - for all who travel in this area .. ist posted so you are careful und vigilant here ...

We hear the A574 has a new Gatso. Ist past the George und Dragon pub und directly opposite a bargain store on the right - Glazebury?

Apparently ist sited in such a position - partially in field und behind a tree in foliage. You do not see apparently until last minute. There ist reportedly a worn out 30 mph circle at the site und brand new Gatso lines...
Why not titivate the on-road surface lolly at same time?

There are also NO little rectangles to warn of the trap either.
