It's come to my attention that the local authority has had to decommission 2 parking meters because the signage at the parking bay is apparantly incorrect. Now, the markings haven't changed for years so by my reckoning they've been coining it in via fixed penalties for 5-10 years!

I want them issue refunds to motorists who were rigorously forced to pay up. I've written to the council but been ignored thus far. What's the best way to shove it up them?

Sounds like a case for maladministration.


Very interesting FiF. I know another parking place where the double yellows cross an alleyway as a single dotted line. Been like that for years and they still keep issuing tickets.
