any idea how I can go about getting CCTV footage from a main road in London to support an insurance claim?

Thanks both for the response.

I've since spoken to a v.helpful guy at the council (honest!) who has given me the phone number of the local control room, and even said he'll call them for me.

FYI - in this location, the tapes are wiped after 31 days

Might even get a result at this rate...!
