Thanks Richard, it all makes sense now.

Just to put into further context for you (and probably some others), it was my silver C5 which won Ladies Choice at the Jaguar Owners Club Classic Car show at Bovington last year. Two Jag wives chose my car - I was chuffed but true to form I have had to endure a lot of stick because of it from some particularly jealous members of this forum.

Rich, did you have one of those "now-famous" lumberjack shirts on to win that award...?

You wally, read my last post again - it was the car that got the award, not me.

It still is on topic Richard, 'cos I had my lumberjack shirt in the back of my ZR-1 when I was going up the 1.25 mile. If fact I even got it out at one stage to kneel on when I was trying to find out where the oil was p*ssing out of Cliff's engine.

There you see, back on topic

What can i say!,i have mixed emotions on the one hand it was great to be at such a great event and one that i think so highly of that its the 1st to be pencilled into the yearly calender.
But on the other hand every time i go there it comes back on a trailer and after so little use i need to sit down and wonder if all these modifications are really worth all the trouble especially when you see a stock 350 with few home mods like richards run near identical numbers, well done Richard by the way

Gutted.

I feel for you Cliff and Nigel. Makes me wonder if expensive mods are worth all the problems that come with them.

BTW there is a guy asking after you on the corvetteforum
