The C5R will race into history at Laguna Seca on the weekend of the 16th/17th of October. It will compete in the final round of the ALMS series in the 4 hour race which is due to complete at 8 p.m. in the dark.

I really, really, really want to go to this as

a. I have never been to California
b. I have never been to Laguna Seca
c. I want to see the final race of the C5R.

Anyone else fancy going?

Flipping heck, whats next, the C6R? Why would they retire it, is there another waiting in the wings?

The C6R will debut at Sebring next spring and will be racing at Le Mans next year (June 11th/12th 2005 if you don't already know).

Do bears sh*t in the Catholics?
Is the Pope a wood?

This was certainly the final race for this C5R

Wouldn't bet on it! It's amazing what those guys at Pratt and Miller can do. I remember one of the cars got totalled at Miami last year and 2 weeks later it raced at Road Atlanta and completed the race.

C5R's never die!
