Bare alloy with black nose cone and wings
Yeah baby & make them wings, real wings - ie clams! AWL said:
I'm a big fan of the bare alloy, but the time I have to invest in keeping it nice and shiny is putting me off
It´s not that big a deal - just normal washing & car polish & perhaps an annual Autosol, unless your name´s Mick of course AWL said:
And...the misses prefers a color
Yeah well, can´t help you with that one I´m afraid...Edited by Farlig on Sunday 19th October 21:21

Decision has been taken. I'm going for the csr.
Order form will be signed tomorrow for delivery in May 2015.
It will be a long winter...
Still undecided on the colour though. Would like something classical with an edge.
Maybe burgundy with grey bonnet stripe.
Any other suggestions?
Congratulations on your purchase. I have an SV in those colours...Order form will be signed tomorrow for delivery in May 2015.

CSR, it has a much better feel. May be a little under powered but for road use will be fine.
Mic knows what he's talking about , so you've made the right choice Advice to go for a bright colour would be my advice as well, and also consider a noseband and bonnet stripe(s) as without those the nose can look very wide in a bright colour, compared to an S3.
Excellent choice of car and colour. You won't regret it.
I've always felt that although the CSR is more expensive, it is far better value for money as it is so much more advanced, with better suspension components and chassis. I rather suspect that Caterham make less profit on this car than they do on their other top range models. Maybe Mic can comment?
