Quite a good memory Noger???
Take another look at this and then tell me again I was arguing with Alex.

I don't see any argument from me and in fact, Alex agreed with my statement although he went on to explain his own views which I totally respect, and said as much.
Why on one of the pages, you even agreed with me.
There was, however, one other person whom I believe was roundly condemned for his own stance on that particular episode. Flick through the pages and I'm sure you will see to whom I am referring.
Ahhhhh, such nostalgia.

Other one indeed! Nice try.
In terms of tenacity Noger, I feel you and I have a lot in common. Like a 'dog with a bone' as my old mum used to say.
Anyhow, point made for the moment and I will, perhaps, make another minor incursion soon. Feel free to join in over on BlatChat some time - oh you can't can you.
PS You've got jolly good smilies over here btw.
PPS Arnie, believe it or not I genuinely do wish you well and hope the GT40 rep proves to be as interesting to you as the 7 has been.
PPPS Don't take it all so seriously, you are still very easy to wind up!

And don't worry, I promise I wont mention the time at Le-mans when you saw the stars.
And the decking apparently.
So, let's get this straight. Free speech and all that, this isn't the club site afterall - so people don't have to be all coy about actually being truthful. And the decking apparently.
Are you suggesting that a member (current ?) of the Lotus Seven Club of GB on the official Club trip to Le Mans hit Arnie so hard he saw stars and passed out ?
Interesting. Who was it ? Are they still a member ? Isn't the estemed club bothered that it's members seem to think this is a good thing ?
Noger, I pissed pikey yob from lifes undercast who was not a club member bent my sungalsses if that is what you mean. The incident was witnessed by nobody, so everything reported is hearsay put about by those with wreckless imagination. Nobody ever saw stars or fell over. Many would like to think it was something rather more serious.
Oooh, get her
Do you see the problem here ? The dichotomy I was trying to explain (perhaps badly) ?
So from the horses mouth, this was just a pissed up bloke and some damaged glasses. Standard stuff for Le Mans in the last few years, sadly, now the lager louts have taken over (or I have got older )
But you go and look on Blatchat for the number of sly and frankly quite odious references to "decking".
Now Arn and I may well have the odd difference of opinion on the rights of screaming queens to roam the streets, but I wouldn't wish him harm.
I thought Norm was a cantankerous old git at times, but I didn't think "Ha Ha" when he broke his ribs.
And yet we have a group of people who will quite happily laugh and snigger at the aforementioned decking . The same people who will no doubt be going "Bloody Oxygen Thief" (never quite clever enough to think of their very own insults, and quite often they end up pinching one of mine ) when Pete Doherty pops his wooden shoes.
And yet you call one of them a moron for an incorrect apostrophe or splitting an infinitve, and you are the anti-Christ. Tsk
As it happens, I AM the AntiChrist. Although it doesn't confer as many powers as many people think.
