Hi Martin,

Many thanks for the thumbup on the video.

Yes I loved seeing the Ultimas on the day, and I thought to best to keep out of their way whilst using my car on track for the first time.

Also not sure which one comes past in my video but several of them had V10 engines and 500+ BHP so they really were shifting!!

Cheers,

Nige.

Nigel,

You need to have a think about how extreme you want the car to be if its for mainly road use with regard to camber / toe & ride height (especially after Pat's cats eye issue!) as a rule the better you make the car for track use the more hardcore it becomes for road use, by keeping the standard suspension you will retain a reasonable degree of road usability.

With the corner weight setup, you need to decide to have that done with just your weight in the car for best solo performance, or to have a compromise setup done with an average passenger weight in the spare seat too.

Also its worth pointing out that a lot of perceived handling problems are in fact caused by the driving style of the squishy thing sitting behind the wheel, its really only the last couple of seconds that are going to gained by an optimum setup.

No, that weight was with a Suzuki K6 1ltr superbike engine doing about 190-195bhp at the crank, gave 166hp at the wheels!

Busa installation would come in around 25-30kg heavier I guess.
