For a road car perhaps. On track it is an issue - ask an experienced Caterham instructor.Thank you all for your observations, fascinating stuff It does sound as though my acclimatising to the car won't necessarily be fraught with 'moments', naturally I'll be on the learning curve we are with any new ride. The showroom and factory are still locked down of course but the chance to visit is drawing closer hopefully. Had masses of help from Stuart of Premier Power over the phone too. some nicely engineered mods available from his company
