What type of carbon arches do I have?
Discussion
I have a 2000MY 1.6 Superlight with unpainted and apparently unlacquered carbon arches which I much prefer to the current very shiny (presumeably) lacquered carbon wings.
Is there a difference in construction between the my older arches and the newer ones? Does anyone still produce my type of arch?

It's not good to have them actually unlaquered. They'll degrade through water ingress.
Just have them sprayed with a matt laquer.
They may be sprayed with a matt lacquer for all I know. They are period wings as they came from the factory. No issues with water ingress and just need an occasional spray with a bees wax spray to keep them in good condition. Just have them sprayed with a matt laquer.
