Insulated (carbon?) exhaust guards
Discussion
Anyone tried one of these - think Carbon Bits do them and I'm sure there's others. My kids (fairly young and therefore not gifted with too much common sense yet) have to get in and out and I wouldn't mind reducing the exhaust temperature a bit. Eventually one them's going to get a burn getting in or out if I don't do anything.
Do these guards work at reducing temperatures? Any problems with power reduction or increased engine compartment temps? How are they to fit & what's the quality like?
Cheers.
