Astra K - steering rack

Hello

My Astra k needs a new steering rack. It’s groaning when it gets warmed up. Looks like a straightforward enough job, drop the subframe and a few bolts hold the rack on.

Has anyone done this at home? I’m toying the idea of doing it myself on axle stands.

Any idea on torque settings for the subframe bolts?

I think it’s the motor groaning, can I change that and avoid changing the whole rack ?
