Yes me, I ordered the car the day after it was officially released, well over a year ago and it’s at long last being built now and should hit the showroom in early May! I know several have been delivered in the mid and North of the Country but not in London or the South East. Fingers crossed!

Did they tell you it could be this long a wait? I was told t up to a year, so that's June for me, committed to build in November and now being built.

Ford dealers are kept very poorly advised by Ford. My dealer was 100% honest and great with his updates. Originally it could have been last November but it’s ended up apparently to the dealer in early May confirmed. Fine by me.

I have mine now, but only due to taking someone else’s slot who will wait for mine now

Would of been nearly 13 months now with still no sign of build date so consider myself lucky

I've just been told mine is being built in June and should reach me by September. I think that will be about a 16 month wait...

For anyone contemplating spacers here is my car with 25mm spacers on the front and 20mm on the rear. I have also had fitted the full IRS kit and G track brace supplied by Steeda and I can honestly say that it had absolutely transformed the handling, particularly the rear end with no downsides whatsoever.

Have you got a strut brace as well? Would the 25 mm spacer fitted in the rear, did you have to shorten bolts for the 20mm ?

I sourced the correct Bullitt strut brace from Levittown Ford in New York which was about £300 delivered and no no shortening of studs at all front or rear. They hardly protruded but anyway the Bullitt wheels have recesses in the back to accommodate if you wanted even smaller spacers.

Evening all,

I was sadly late to the Bullitt party, only finding out about the model in Jan this year it was no real surprise that I was told by the few dealers I tried that I had "no chance" which is a bummer as I'm 40 this year and the idea of a limited edition V8 sounded perfect.

So I decided to arrange a half day with a standard GT but due to commitments had to delay it two weeks. Finally had the rive a week ago Saturday. When handing it back I mentioned to the sales guy that what I really wanted was the Bullitt.

"Come with me" he says and we walk out the back. Bloody Bullitt sat in the back looking at me. Had been delivered the night before and the buyer had cancelled due to not being able to finance it.

I was offered it and after a week of deliberating I ended up putting a deposit down on it. Hopefully pick it up in 2/3 weeks when my M140i has sold!

Will post up some pics when I get it smile

Hi, You have got those spacers just right with 20mm back & front at 25mm it looks good from what l can see.I have blown hot & cold about fitting them have you had the car tracked up again since fitting them also are the spacers steel or aluminuim?
You say you have fitted IRS kit what does this consist of & was this steeda in the UK or the US ?

Very excited. I have just put down a deposit on a 2020 Bullitt in Highland Green (has anyone in the UK ordered a black one? Could end up being the most rare Mustang ever produced) with Magneride. There is no build date yet or much information about anything so who knows how long I will be waiting. First things I will do after collecting the car are:

1. Paint correction and ceramic coat by my preferred detailer
2. Oil catch can
3. Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 Cavity wax throughout and Bilt Hamber Dynax UC clear undercoat/waxoyl.
4. 4.09 rear final drive swap.
5. Steeda IRS braces, jack points, alignment and a few other handling goodies.
6. Steeda or another ECU tune to extract another 10% or so hp and torque and make up the deficit these cars have compared to the US ones.

That should do it for quite a while as I don't see myself wanting to modify the motor, suspension or drivetrain in any dramatic way.
