Wow, what an amazing restoration! That really looks fantastic.
I've got a 72 Mustang Convertible but it's not a patch on yours!

Lovely. Your car looks every bit as clean as mine. Looks like it has had some quality work carried out.I've got a 72 Mustang Convertible but it's not a patch on yours!

That reminds me of being in LA during a road trip in '92. We were driving an Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera but as it was my 30th birthday I went down to Rent a Wreck and got myself a '72 Mustang convertible 5.0 for the day.
When I was returning it I had to find a garage that sold the increasingly rare 4* petrol but when I got there, I could not for the life of me find the filler cap. I was going nuts walking round and round the car, scratching my head when a guy pulled up in a beautiful 60s Stingray Corvette.
"Hey Buddy!! it's under the plate!" he yelled.
Sure enough under the spring loaded rear registration plate was the filler cap
It's these memories that make the cars that little bit more interesting lolWhen I was returning it I had to find a garage that sold the increasingly rare 4* petrol but when I got there, I could not for the life of me find the filler cap.
